Our society was created to restore our litlle church which was built during the XIVe century and has kept his main features all over the centuries ;
"THE LITTLE CHURCH THAT DIDN'T WANT TO DIE" As the TV presented it because it survived throughout seven centuries a lot of perishes:
Fire, lack of upkeep because the villagers were poor, neglect, even destruction !!
It is a "Normand church" as there are some in the south of England - in Surrey for exemple, we were surprised to see one very similar - even the carpentry looked similar!
His granit maçonry is very massive and its carpentry, "à chevrons formant ferme" constructed by master carpenters, is remarquable ; only three other exemples throughout Normandy have been listed at this moment. The roof is covered with tiles.
His windows are late roman with a "triplet roman" in what we call "the heart"of the Church and there are amazing paintings from the middle ages around the Windows.
At the origin, all the walls were covered by paintings.
there is a splendid "baptistère" in granit.
In order to restore the rest of the paintings existing on the other walls,
